The hardware is top. I wish they would allow Google Play like other android devices allow sideloading via Amazon Marketplace. *Native Android App Compatibility*, but using Google's most popular marketplace/services are sadly walled off. The Amazon store is available on the Nexus and others. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like we should be able to use our purchased android apps everywhere we have machines capable of running them. Maybe I have it completely wrong, and Google doesn't want it on the new hdx tablets, this seems unlikely...

The device will not allow you inton settings or anywhwee wit out the parental password. To get the opportunity to reset the kindle fire hdx device, simply attempt an incorrect password 5 times. A reset link will appear below the password entry field. This will allow you to use your amazon password to reset the kindle fire hdx parental password.
