We would like to thank both our Best Man and Maid of Honor for their wonderfully kind words. We love you both very much! Steve Horner - Best Man - Brother and Friend Good evening ladies and gentlemen. My name is Steve, and I'm Dave?s brother and best man on this occasion. Firstly, I would like to thank all of you for coming here tonight. I'd also like to thank Dave and Dayna for giving me this honor Dave, today should rightly be the happiest day of your life, and it will continue to be a date that you will both cherish and celebrate as each year passes. And the secret to ensuring that you always remember this date as your special anniversary ? is to forget it just once. But seriously, I have known Dave since childhood? well, since having been born actually. Through all the good times and through all of the bad, I can tell you this much. He stands by the people he cares about. And he truly is a good person with a good heart. I remember the night that Dave proposed to Dayna. He had spent days in advance composing a video highlighting how much she means to him. His labor of love would have George Lucas jealous and Spielberg looking for a partner. The strongest part of its production value is the sentiment it carried. And it carried it did, on the projector of a movie screen. When the time came, everyone gathered at the Cinema Grill, where he was ready to pop the big question. Now on this night I don?t have to tell you how it went, because you already know the outcome. I once heard that you can measure a person by the people he knows and how they feel about him. By looking around this room today, I can tell you that Dayna is a very lucky bride. We all care about you, Dave, and we are thrilled to see you tie the knot. And at that, I say, we all raise our glasses to the bride and groom, and give them a toast to a bright future and many days of faith, love, and mutual happiness! Natalie Lill - Maid of Honor - Friend I would like to say a few words about my best friend Dayna. Dayna and I go back as long as I can remember. We shared our grade school days together at St. Charles and our high school days at Bishop Dwenger. Some of our fondest memories made in grade school took place at our many slumber parties. At these parties we always found ways to get at each other or stir things up a little bit. A party never ended without freezing someone?s bra, putting ice in their bed, or throwing Dayna?s beloved bear in the snow. But I think we?ve matured a little since then. Grade school was just the beginning of Dayna and I?s friendship. Next came high school, a time Dayna and I will never forget. It was our junior year when we became best friends and decided to never leave each other?s side. We will never forget B.D. games, dances, partying together (maybe sometimes a little too hard) dating best friends, and being there for one another when things got a little too complicated to handle on our own. In high school Dayna and I learned that Kamshucuta and peanut butter always equals a good time. Everyone else quickly learned if they were to mess with one of us they would really get it from the other. Some of our fondest memories are filled with laughter, love, happiness, and even a few with sadness. Me and Dayna have been apart throughout college and things have changed. We don?t have the time to see each other everyday as we did in the past, and I really do miss that?.but the awesome part of it all is that our friendship has always remained that same. I have never doubted our friendship or thing that we will ever grow apart. I love Dayna for the honest, caring, sincere, and fun person she is. But most of all I love her just for being her. Our friendship has made me part of the person I am today. Dayna has always supported me and been there when I have needed her. Dave is so lucky to share in all that Dayna has to offer. And at the same time, I couldn?t ask for a better person for Dayna to spend the rest of her life with. Dayna, I look forward to the future and experiencing marriage and having children together. I love you both and wish you happiness always.
